 Romeo and Juliet versus a Goodbye to Forearms Essay

While equally A Farewell to Forearms and The Misfortune of Romeo and Juliet have qualities that define them as a disaster, one of the testimonies is a bit more tragic than the other.

In both stories, the protagonists happen to be noble characters with interesting depth of heart and soul. Tybalt recognizes Romeo and sends a servant to fetch his rapier. Capulet overhears Tybalt and reprimands him, showing him that Romeo is definitely well regarded in Verona, and that he will not have Romeo harmed by his feast. This was portrayed when Capulet said " He contains him like a portly man / Also to say truth, Verona brags of him / To be a virtuous and well-governed youth” (1, 5, 65-67). Inside the city of Verona, Romeo includes a reputation internet marketing a positive and well-behaved youth of noble position. While Romeo shows that he could be a respectable figure, Henry shows that this individual fits this description better. Henry is in a medical center when his friend Rinaldi goes to go to him. He tells Henry that he will probably be embellished for his heroism in battle, although Henry protests, declaring that he shown no gallantry. After Rinaldi asked Henry if this individual has done whatever heroic to deserve the medal, Henry replies by saying " No . I used to be blown up although we were ingesting cheese” (pg. 63). Henry's unemotional a reaction to being injured displays his stoicism. He exhibits none despair in the wound by itself nor enjoyment at Rinaldi's promise the fact that wound brings him beauty. Henry helps it be clear that he does not have interest in getting decorated with medals. He's a simple person because of not accepting the medals.

One more feature that defines both works of literature like a tragedy is that both main characters have got a tragic flaw. Romeo and Benvolio decide to visit the ball, where Romeo fulfilled Juliet and immediately caught by her. Direct after the ball, Romeo goes to the Capulet household approach Juliet.
